Palmetto Bay Park Legacy Bricks

Reserve your place on Palmetto Bay Park’s entry walkway where family and friends can enjoy it for decades to come. Each brick can display up to 3 lines of text of 18 characters each. Legacy Bricks are $100 each. The legacy they leave is priceless.

Yoga by the Bay

Enjoy relaxing yoga classes by the bay Sundays at Thalatta Estate Park. Instructors lead participants through a variety of breathing, energizing, restorative, relaxation and meditation practices. $6 + convenience fee per person/class. NOTE: Registration closes the Friday before the Yoga class at 3pm and reopens the Monday following the class.

Senior's Day Out with the Marlins

Please join us for a day out with the Marlins at loanDepot park on August 13th, 2026. The event is FREE for those 65+ and their guest. Transportation will be provided. A charter bus will leave from Coral Reef Park Recreation Center at 12pm and return at approximately 4:30pm.

Gardening Workshops

The Village of Palmetto Bay and Master Gardener Gloria Joannou present Gardening Workshops at Thalatta Estate. Workshops will include Flip YOUR Florida Yard, All About Orchids, Composting, Recycling & Zero Waste, and Edible Gardening. These FREE workshops take place once a month in June, July, August and September. ***No pre-registration required. Registration will take place when you arrive. Max capacity of 35.***

National Night Out & Back to School FunFest

Join us on Tuesday, August 4th at Coral Reef Park for our National Night Out and Back to School FunFest. This national community building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and will feature police vehicles and representatives, FREE food (while supplies last), bounce houses, sponsored back-to-school giveaways, and an outdoor movie. Join us from 6-10pm for a fun night out with your local police.

T Connect Mobile Office at Palmetto Bay Park

T Connect’s services include Driver’s License renewal, replacement and reinstatement, as well as issuance of ID’s and ID renewal. The mobile unit also provides car registration renewal, adding or removing organ donor and other restrictions, and handicap permit renewal and application. Register onsite.

Senior Tech Connect: Uber Workshop

In this FREE workshop, you will be introduced to the Uber app, including how to download the app, create an account, enter payment information, and enable Simple Mode. Following instruction, you will take part in a guided, hands-on field experience where you will request a complimentary Uber ride and take a short trip with instructor support. Lunch will be provided.

Water Safety Workshop

Make a splash safely! Join our Water Safety Workshop designed for children ages 5 and older and their families. Participants will learn essential water safety skills, including how to stay safe in and around pools, beaches, lakes, and other aquatic environments. Through age-appropriate instruction, attendees will gain confidence in recognizing water hazards, practicing safe swimming behaviors, understanding the importance of supervision, and learning basic emergency response tips.
